so the real world hollywood started tonight on mtv. i LOVE the real world. it’s trashy tv at it’s best. the premiere of the new season was preceded by the real world awards which was both compeletely annoying and totally un-missable. the most annoying thing about the awards was that they were so heavily skewed to more recent seasons. everyone knows that the best season was san francisco. and it wasn’t even in the top 3. they even had a tribute to pedro which was fantastic. pedro was amazing!

the only good thing about the more recent skewing was that melinda from austin won an award and the austin season won for best overall. i don’t if anyone else wathced the austin season (other than jo-ann – shout-out!) but it was amazing and melinda at first seemed seemed to be the typical cheerleader bitch girl, but turned out to be the most sincere and enjoyable person on the show. austin also another of the best real world characters ever in lacey who was resident bitch. any time there was drama going in the house lacey could be counted on to be in the confessional bitching about it. hiliarity always ensued.

the real world is amazing!
