i’m a recessionista!

so i was walking along with my discman today imagining everyone looking at me with shame in their eyes and whispering quietly to one another: ‘is that a discman? how 1995.’ but then i remembered that i’d seen the cover of vogue india the other day (the one with frieda pinto, click to view) and one of the titles was ‘how to be a recessionista.’ i’m now loving this word and i’ve decided that my discman carrying is recessionista chic, rather than being sad and dated.
